How Scrub Up Ltd collects, uses and protects your personal data

Scrub Up Ltd (Company No: 17108588) is the data controller for the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.

We may collect and process the following personal data about you: your name, address, phone number and email address; property or site address and access information including key references; booking and service history; payment records; photographs taken before and after cleaning for quality assurance purposes; complaint and dispute records; and any other information you provide to us in connection with our services.
2. Why We Collect Your Data
We collect your personal data to provide cleaning services to you, manage bookings and scheduling, process payments and handle invoices, respond to complaints and resolve disputes, maintain our internal records, comply with legal obligations, and improve our services.
Our lawful basis for processing your data is the performance of a contract with you, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in running a professional cleaning business.
3. How We Use Your Data
Your personal data is used only for the purposes for which it was collected. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to third parties.
We may share your data with allocated cleaners on a strictly need-to-know basis in order to carry out your booking. We may also share data with professional advisors, regulators or law enforcement where required by law.
4. How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain client records including booking history, payment records and complaint records for a period of 6 years from the date of the last transaction, in line with standard business record-keeping requirements.
Access information such as key references and access codes is deleted promptly once the service relationship has ended and all access items have been returned.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. Access codes and sensitive access information are stored separately from client records and shared only on a strict need-to-know basis.
6. Your Rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data in certain circumstances, object to processing of your data in certain circumstances, and request restriction of processing in certain circumstances.
